About the role
Coordinate 40–60 daily shipments across our Ontario–Quebec lanes. You'll book carriers, track loads, solve the daily surprises, and keep customers in the loop before they have to ask. Fast-paced desk in a tight-knit ops team of eight.
What you'll do
- Dispatch and track LTL/FTL shipments
- Negotiate spot rates with carriers
- Resolve delays and exceptions proactively
- Maintain accurate records in the TMS
What you'll bring
- 1–2 years in dispatch, logistics, or freight ops
- Comfort juggling phones, email, and a TMS at once
- Cross-border paperwork knowledge an asset
- Unflappable under pressure
